Compassion in Action

A Journey from Rescue to Therapy

At White Knight Therapeutic Equestrian Center & Rescue, we believe that healing is a mutual journey. Our residents, like 'Apollo' the gentle draft horse, arrived at our rescue with a history of neglect. Through months of patient rehabilitation and nourishment, he didn't just regain his physical strength; he rediscovered his spirit.

Today, Apollo serves as a primary mounting partner in our therapeutic riding program. He shows an uncanny sensitivity to participants who use mobility aids, standing perfectly still with a calming presence that builds immediate trust and confidence in every rider he carries.

The story of rescue is never just about one animal; it's about the countless community members who find their own healing through these interactions. Apollo's transformation is a testament to the power of our mission—proving that every soul deserves a second chance at purpose.

Our Mission

Healing Hearts and Rescuing Souls

Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, White Knight Therapeutic Equestrian Center & Rescue was founded on the belief that the bond between humans and horses holds extraordinary power. Our history is rooted in providing a sanctuary where disabled riders gain mobility and neglected horses find peace, creating a cycle of mutual healing that serves our entire community.
